Creating strategies for the complete integration of branding and marketing efforts both online and offline. In this position I developed business proposals, planned campaigns, and managed projects related to each campaign.

Director of Marketing – PLIMX São Paulo, Brazil | June 2009 – March 2010
Marketing and business development for internet start-up focused on creating an easy to use SAS web authoring platform. A customized enterprise version of the service was developed to provide online portals for print magazines, while a simplified version was created for small business owners. In this position I planned the marketing strategy for the small business product, actively pursued clients for the enterprise version and led the design of the client side conversion funnel for the small business service.

Marketing Manager – Dominion Enterprises, Dominion Marine Group, Seattle, WA USA | 2006 – 2009
As Marketing manager for YachtWorld and Boats.com, now Dominion Marine Group, I was responsible for developing and executing the annual marketing plan, including the development of both strategy and tactics, execution, contracting and managing third party service providers, and tracking ROI. Tactics used included: events, lectures, developing partnerships with industry associations, sponsorship of industry groups, advertisements in trade and enthusiast publications, internal blog, forum, trade shows, search engine marketing, PR, sales collateral, newsletters, e-mail marketing, and direct mailing.

Account Executive and partner at a web development agency based in Seattle with additional development team in São Paulo, Brazil. My responsibilities included prospecting clients, researching and evaluating clients business needs, and creating and negotiating the project proposal and development agreement. Additionally, managed requests from customers and demands from development and design team.

Assistant Producer – Geo Produções Visuais Ltda São Paulo, Brazil | 2003 – 2004
In this position I assisted an award winning Art Director in the development of unique film and print advertisements for the Brazilian market. In addition to helping organize and produce photo shoots and filming commercials, I was the primary point of contact with European and American clients facilitating meetings with the art director and rest of the creative theme. I also wrote translated and localized copy for English language versions of print ads.

Freelance – English Teacher and Copywriter Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | 2000 – 2002
After developing a strong client base as a private English teacher, I began helping select clients improve their marketing material that was geared towards English speaking markets. I primarily worked with textile manufacturers with business to business communication.
